Terms and Conditions

Welcome to EnvoCan Reduction. We're a practical bunch who hate legalese as much as you do, but we need some ground rules. So here's our terms without the usual lawyer-speak.

Using Our Stuff

Feel free to use our tips, guides, and ideas to cut down your carbon footprint. That's what they're there for. But don't go copying whole chunks of our site and passing it off as your own work. That's just not cool.

Our logo, name, and the specific way we present our content? Those belong to us. Don't use them without asking first. Basic manners, really.

Your Responsibility

We try to give solid advice, but every home and situation is different. What works perfectly at your neighbor's place might not work the same for you. So use your common sense when following our suggestions.

If you decide to make changes to your home based on our advice, that's on you. We're not responsible if something goes wrong with your DIY project. If you're not sure about something, maybe get a professional to help out.

Our Content

We put a lot of effort into making our content easy to understand and actually useful. Sometimes we might get a detail wrong or miss something. We update stuff when we catch mistakes, but we're not perfect.

The carbon reduction numbers we talk about are based on real projects we've done, but your results might be different. Maybe better, maybe worse. Depends on a bunch of factors.

Your Content

If you send us messages, leave comments, or share your projects with us, we might use them (anonymously) in our materials. We won't use your name unless you specifically say it's okay.

Don't send us anything illegal, harmful, or nasty. We don't want it and we'll delete it. Repeat offenders get blocked. Life's too short for that stuff.

Website Access

We try to keep the site up and running smoothly, but sometimes things break. We're not promising 100% uptime or anything like that.

Don't try to hack us, overwhelm our servers, or do anything malicious to the site. We'll notice, and we might have to take legal action. Nobody wants that.

Changes to These Terms

We might update these terms now and then. We're not gonna send out a press release about it, but any big changes will be noted on the site. Check back occasionally if you're worried about it.

Getting In Touch

If you've got questions about any of this, just contact us through the site. We're actual humans and we'll get back to you when we can.

These terms are basically a simplified version of "be reasonable, and we will too." That's our whole approach, really.
